KIMBERLY L. MAYHEW
Associate
Kimberly L. Mayhew joined our firm in December, 2005. Before that, Mrs. Mayhew worked in a law firm in Fresno that focused on consumer protection issues.
Mrs. Mayhew, a 1998 graduate of San Joaquin College of Law, brings extensive trial experience to the firm. Mrs. Mayhew has handled a number of consumer class action lawsuits. At Caswell Bell & Hillison LLP, Mrs. Mayhew will continue to work on civil litigation matters, including real estate, employment law, and business disputes.
Mrs. Mayhew grew up in Ventura County, California. She graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in journalism. Mrs. Mayhew also has a masters degree in mass communications from Cal State University, Fresno.
She was able to put her degree to good use, as she worked for The Bakersfield Californian and The Fresno Bee as a copy editor and a writer. Between the two newspapers, Mrs. Mayhew worked in journalism for eight years.
Mrs. Mayhew settled in Fresno in 1990. She and her husband, Don (also a writer for The Fresno Bee), have three children, including a daughter who is attending the University of Miami on a volleyball scholarship. When not working, Mrs. Mayhew enjoys spending time with her children. She is also an avid baseball fan (her favorite team is the Boston Red Sox).
