G. THOMAS CASWELL

 G. Thomas Caswell, Jr. obtained his law degree from Stanford University in 1959. His undergraduate work was completed at California State University-Fresno, where he majored in business administration and was a member of the Blue Key Honor Society.
Tom, rated AV, is a business lawyer with an emphasis on real estate.
He began his practice in Fresno in 1959 and was a partner in the highly regarded law firm of Crossland, Crossland, Caswell & Bell until 1980 at which time Tom and his partner, Jim Bell, left to create their own law office, which is now known as Caswell Bell & Hillison LLP.
Tom has been community active, participating as a board member of the Fresno City and County Chamber of Commerce, board member of the Community Hospitals of Central California, board member and chairman of the Board of Trustees for Valley Children's Hospital, President and board member of North Fresno Rotary, and instrumental in creating the Rotary Club of North Fresno Endowment Fund, which is committed to philanthropic support for local needs. Tom has also served as an arbitrator on the Fresno County Superior Court Arbitration Panel and as an arbitrator by appointment from the American Arbitration Association.
During his long and successful practice, his legal representation has included the Fresno Association of Realtors, several title companies, mortgage companies, loan brokers, real estate brokerage offices, contractors, subdividers and developers.
In the course of his practice he has also taught Real Estate Law for the American Savings and Loan Institute and at Fresno City College.
