The son
of a Midwest Baptist Minister, David A. Roberts graduated from
Kalamazoo College, Kalamazoo Michigan in 1971 with a major in
medieval history.
Never finding his major very useful, David traveled and took odd
jobs until he landed in Yosemite National Park where he worked at
the Ahwahnee Hotel and later became the manager of May Lake High
Sierra Camp.
Thereafter, having decided upon a career in law, David attended
the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, graduated in 1979
and became a member of the California Bar that same year.
David’s 22 years of legal practice have been focused in the field
of civil litigation. He has had extensive trial experience
including numerous jury and court trials. Within the field of
civil litigation David considers himself a “general practitioner,”
taking most cases that require the involvement of the court
system. In addition to his litigation expertise David works
with agricultural, real property and debt collection issues and
carved out a niche in the field of bond finance and foreclosure.
On a personal level, David enjoys
learning about new cultures and peoples and has journeyed to and
within many countries in Europe, Eurasia and Asia for that
purpose. He and his family have lived for extended periods of
time in both Germany and Italy. David is an avid fly fisherman
who spends his leisure time in various outdoor activities with
family and friends. |
